My company name is Sutakani. I am currently dealing with 4 products, Round mop , Clip Mop , Twist Mop , Wiper with different sizes and prices. Sutakani is different from others by:- 1. We use pure cotton threads whereas our competitors use synthetic mix thread that does not soak water. 2. We use virgin material plastic for clips that is again not used by other companies and our mop can last upto years without breaking. 3. We use wooden sticks and not plastic or very thin steel pipes like others so they don't break. 4. Our prices are also very low compared to competitors. The challenges Sutakani is facing are:- 1. We are in shortage of funds because of a previous medical issue. 2. We are not able to make customized plastic covers because they are only produced in bulk. 3. Due to shortage of funds we don't order in bulk so we are not getting credit and discount. 4. Raw material is not produced in Assam. 5. Compared to our quality,our mrp and price to retailer is very low but competitors are selling their low quality products,in cheap prices. Retailers are more interested in keeping those low quality products in stock. 6. Those big giants can give credit upto 6 months but we as startups cannot afford that. In my first financial year after the GST registration I sold 6.5 lakhs and last year I sold 2.5 lakhs.
