Tejaswini Assam Ideathon 2024 is a business idea contest to promote and identify women from Assam with an entrepreneurial mindset providing solutions to local problems!

An undertaking of the Women’s Cell, Industries & Commerce Department, Govt. of Assam, along with the North Eastern Handicrafts & Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd. (NEHHDC), as the implementing agency, Tejaswini has been ideated to be an innovative way to give platform to the entrepreneurial women of Assam, aged between 18 yrs to 50 yrs, to pitch their ideas and earn recognition in a wider network.

Tejaswini Activities

  • Outreach programme across different districts of Assam, targeting aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs in business for not more than 3 yrs.
  • A pitching platform to the shortlisted business ideas across Assam.
  • Boot Camp for selected business ideas and their pitching at Guwahati.
  • Final day event in Guwahati in August 2024, declaring 8 best ideas as winners,
    and post-event mentoring of 50 top ideas.
